A STUDY OF CITIES THROUGH THEIR PEOPLE.
LISTENING TO LOCALS, ONE CITY AT A TIME.

WE ASK:
“HOW DO YOU EXPERIENCE YOUR CITY?”

INSTEAD OF ASKING:
“WHERE SHOULD TOURISTS GO?”

This is an editorial project built on the idea that cities are best understood through the people who know them from within.

At its core, the project produces city guides through interviews with a new generation of tastemakers across many fields: from politics and creative strategy to architecture, urban planning, night culture, and professional sports. Each guest offers more than recommendations: they offer a way of reading a city through their own discipline, rhythm, and sensibility.

The project focuses on people who shape culture, thought, taste, and public life in different ways, and asks them to reveal the places, habits, atmospheres, and contradictions through which a city becomes legible.

These conversations emerge from within the founder’s own circle — a network of peers, friends, and figures encountered across different cities and professional worlds. That proximity matters. It allows the interviews to move beyond formality and toward something more precise, personal, and revealing.

The result is a growing archive of cities told through local voices.
